{"id":1391,"date":"2019-12-17T17:04:51","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T16:04:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/squire-technologies.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1391"},"modified":"2023-06-07T11:35:45","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T10:35:45","slug":"squire-hit-the-circuit-for-a-christmas-grand-prix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/squire-technologies.co.uk\/blog\/squire-hit-the-circuit-for-a-christmas-grand-prix","title":{"rendered":"Squire hit the race circuit for a Christmas Grand Prix"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"bsf_rt_marker\"><\/div><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/grandprix_1.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Looking forward to a well deserved Christmas break at the end of a successful year the team at Squire Technologies HQ hit the race circuit at Wessex Raceway to let off some steam and burn some rubber!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Having drawn names out of the hat to decide upon teams and completed qualifying we went on to race to the death, or until our session ended, whichever came first.<\/p>\n<p>Unsuprisingly our resident petrol head Ben &#8216;the speed&#8217; Teversham and partner Stefan topped the podium with an emphatic win, congratulations to them both!<\/p>\n<p>In second position came our dark horses of the event and senior support duo of Steve and Tim Bascombe who kept at bay young guns and bronze medal winners Ben Hybert and Dominic.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks goes out to Lesley who had planned to join Robyn and enjoy the motor racing from the comfort of the bar, but who stepped in at the last minute not only to drive, but to claim fourth place alongside myself, narrowly missing out on a place on the podium. Fantastic result Lesley!<\/p>\n<p>Having almost burnt ourselves out on the track we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Pear at Parley where we also toasted Brad\u2019s (our Chief Operating Officer) ten year work anniversary with a special gift as a token of our appreciation.
