Finance Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful, team-orientated and motivated company in a branch of Telecommunications that is modern and flourishing.

Reporting to the Head of Finance the primary responsibility of the Finance Assistant will be to assist in the provision to our finance requirements to customers and suppliers. This full-time position will be based at our main office in Dorchester. A great opportunity for someone to learn.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break, 37.5 hours per week.

Main Duties:

Your main duties will be varied, typical responsibilities include:

  • liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients
  • Undertaking financial administration
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll administration
  • VAT returns
  • Assisting in preparation of relevant reports
  • Maintaining records and administering changes where necessary
  • Dealing with general queries
  • General administrative duties

Salary Bracket: £25-30k depending on experience
