The Fraud Prevention Gateway is deployed as an active component in the network allowing operators to proactively combat fraud in real-time. Specifically designed to sit outside any service effecting critical path the SVI-FPG allows users to interrogate network components and resources to identify potential fraudulent behaviour. If fraud is detected the gateway can then instigate remedial network actions e.g. session tear-down, forwarding, redirect, transfer etc.
We work with a number of vendors, operators and security agencies who have deployed the SVI-FPG. Our experience make us well placed to provide on-going support in the design, provisioning and deployment of real-time fraud solutions with the FPG being another tool designed to compliment existing fraud prevention solutions.

The SVI-FPG is deployed as an active component but designed to avoid any service effecting critical paths in the network. Highly flexible it can be used to build custom signalling scenarios to allow operators to identify and then remedy fraudulent behaviour in real-time.
In addition the SVI Fraud Prevention Gateway can be configured to passively monitor signalling in the network over SS7, SCTP, TCP & UDP.
Messages can be analysed for fraudulent patterns that in turn can trigger proactive actions in the network as per the Gateway Deployment mode.

Virtual Machine deployed on industry standard servers in a data centre environment using a hypervisor, i.e. VMware.
