Enhanced Services Items
Change Requests to Add/Modify/Delete Configuration
Changes to apply New configuration, Modify configuration or Delete configuration on SVI. This is subject to sufficient advanced notification and relevant information being available to proceed effectively.
Weekly Health Check
The system is reviewed weekly to ensure it remains operational. This will identify trends whereby capacity or similar is constantly increasing and may if not managed correctly cause an effect on Live services. Along with general health check areas, it ensures all relevant aspects are working as expected.
System KPI Monitoring
This is aimed at ensuring that in the event any of the above or other agreed items are managed and reduces the risk to live services. This will also include notification to On Call Engineer for Platinum customers.
Regular Security Audit
The security audit will review specific aspects which could be considered a risk if not managed.
Hard Disk Monitoring
To monitor the capacity of customer’s hard drives ensuring sufficient capacity remains to ensure Live services remain functional. This will be monitored regularly to identify sudden loss of capacity or continued use of disk space.
Applying Security Patches
This is deemed required to ensure service is not at risk. This will be upon request from the customer with a clear indication of what the issue relates to and what the risk is. Security patches will need to be verified prior to deployment to ensure no effect is presented on live services.
Archiving CDRs/Monthly Backup
Following the Maintenance Guide, Best Practice, CDRs will be archived regularly. This will help to ensure Database management is maintained, SVI performance is not affected and future management of Support Issues is.
Custom Reports
A standard report of All Managed Services and what utilisation there has been of these. This will include all the items monitored and provide a breakdown of utilisation, outages etc
Regular Monitoring of Alarm/Fault codes
Core Dumps will be captured and analysed/reviewed. This may result in a change of Configuration to correct and avoid the issue re-occurring or via replication to determine the cause and configuration amendment or software update applied to resolve such issues.
Additional/Bespoke Training
Aimed at providing New Customer Employees with a training session should it be required due to multiple Staff departures. This can also be utilised for identifying specific training requirements beyond the standard configuration/management areas.
Importance of Monitoring
Monitoring helps to drive operational and network efficiencies. Squire Technologies’ mPaaS solution will help identify and rapidly fix performance-related issues. Without monitoring software or system in place, your technical team will struggle to remedy issues, causing time delays and degradation of service to your own and your customer’s services.
