The Home Location Register (HLR) serves as the primary database repository of subscriber information within GSM/GPRS networks. Subscriber policies control all voice, sms and data services running across a GSM network.

Equipment Identity Register | EIR

The EIR contains information about the identity of the mobile equipment that prevents calls from stolen, unauthorized or defective equipment.

Features include:

Provisioning of Black, White and Grey lists defining access
Validation checking the IMEI of the subscriber
Validation checking the IMSI attached to the IMEI

Authentication Centre | AuC

The AuC function authenticates mobile SIMs connecting to the network and generates keys used in the subsequent encryption of voice, sms and data calls
